This year we've got more hardware-based events, doing interesting things with old tech and having a whole lot of fun in the process (very much only a maybe as to whether anything will be chucked out of a window)! Let's see what we can build with otherwise unused tech. Our brand new servers will also feature heavily in events so whether you've got an new idea for a hosted project or a home-lab guru who wants to peak into enterprise then HackSoc is for you.
We also have a traditional bi-weekly night of Board Games And Cake (BGAC).
Before the start of the semester you'll find all of our events, alongside those of our sister societies, on an open source platform called Mobilizon. From here, you'll be able to view events online, subscribe to a calendar, RSS feed or weekly email.
